Here is a super quick pencil holder that you can make with any kind of scrap wood you might have on hand.
Cut a piece from a branch; a block of wood; glue different kinds of wood together; cut different shapes and sizes; try exotic woods; try drilling the holes at different angles…BE IMAGINATIVE! The creativity is up to you!
The one shown below is made from Birch, a branch I had on hand. I cut it down to be a couple inches thick, drilled a bunch of holes in it to fit the pencils, and sanded a little on the top. That is it! Super quick!
